Since 1995, the Contractors Registration Act  requires any natural or legal person engaged to make improvements, modifications, alterations, repairs and essential facilities in buildings dedicated to housing and / or submitting a proposal or tender of construction, manage, directs or otherwise assumes the direction of a work or construction, or advertised as such to join the DACO.
The law also applies to subcontractors and any person engaged in the construction industry.
